@viciouscanadianvixen i agree! i’ve seen pet shop boys interview and they’ve been looking everywhere searching for the one who’d sing dusty springfield’s part. They PERSONALLY chose Gaga over all the other new artists out there.

so you’re trying to tell me that the teenagers of today would know who the PSB’s are? i highly doubt it! lol…it’s just ridiculous to even consider that as a possibility. is their music brilliant? absolutely. is it current? absolutely not. they contributed greatly to great sounds that some try to copy, but they are not a current group. by adding lady gaga and the killers, they brought their stuff more mainstream and made the newer generations sit up and notice.

I didnt care for her vocal- i dont think the Boys need Lady Gaga to prove their relevance, and she certainly made NO ONE forget that the incomparable Dusty Springfield was the one who sang the original.
