What was the shortest life of your pet fish?

so if you had a pet fish and it died really quickly, how long was it alive for?
We had a beta that lived to be 2 years old,but it kept jumping out of the tank and landing on the floor,and the tank was on a table about 4 feet high,so that’s pretty long.That was the longest.The shortest was around 1 day,our fish got sucked up into the filter.

When I was little I kept some goldfish in a bowl(huge mistake) and they died in 2 days.

Well i won a small goldfish and like 5mins later we went home when i went to go get a bowl the next thing i know its belly up!!
so the answer is about 10 min…

I got an established marine fish tank with two maroon clownfish. So beautiful and worth a bit of $$. £250 for the set up. I got an additional fish for £25.
A week later the tank split and drenched the place. The fish were saved, and i had to buy another tank for them for an extra £250.
Problem was, the tank conditions had been disrupted and the tank stopped processing ammonia. I had to do water changes every day to try and keep them alive, but one night due to a large algae bloom, they all died. In one week I spent £500+ and ended up with nothing but an empty tank. Lesson leant, I think.

i got 5 goldfish from wal-mart. ( huge mistake ) they all died within a week. there names and deaths were: fred: 5 days; lilly: 3 days; bob: 2 days; billy: 2 days; ?: 1 day

i got 2 koi, put them in the pond and 15 minutes later a big white crane came and gobbled them up! so sad:(
