   i like the name ‘fish that is yet to be named’ or for short no-name also my sister had a group of neon tetras called the thunder birds sadly they got picked of and eaten by the other fish so if you have any dont put them in with bigger fish.

    The best name ever for a fish is Humuhumunukunukuapuaa. This is the state fish of Hawaii, also known as the Picasso Triggerfish.

    …Or you could always go with "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince."

    i love naming fish after movie or book characters…. for my four oto cats, i named two after a pair from a disney movie milo and otis, and the others after the movie benny and joon, then for my betta, i named her after pride and prejiduce, and her name is elizabeth bennet, my faveorite fish, my opaline gourami is named after a classic book also, and his name is The Count of Monte Cristo

    A friend of mine has a Black Convict Cichlid she names Michael Vick (spelling may be off). I also have a German Red Cichlid named Adolph and a Snow White Cichlid names Ron Jeremy (he was named this due to obvious reasons if you know who Ron Jeremy is). We also have a featherfin catfish named Prickles.
