From all of the videos I’ve watched from expertvillage, my guess is that the cockatoo is a rescued parrot. Missy was a traumatized bird who plucked her own feathers. She now seems very happy and content. I haven’t seen a single training clip that I didn’t agree with. So with all of this valuable knowledge, Missy’s feather plucking ~isn’t~ because of any neglect of her current home or handlers! For those who don’t know, her feathers will grow back, even without a vet. She’s now in good hands!
