Ex-pet horses brought to livestock auction in Grunthal, Manitoba bought by kill buyer from Alberta. Horses were roughly loaded at auction into a vastly overcrowded trailer. The trailer was so heavy the driver had difficulty controlling it and frequently swerved into oncoming traffic. The truck started having problems, they had to stop at Canadian Tire for parts. The horses were on this trailer – one with his tail whipping in the wind through the barely closed rear gate – for over 18 hours.

and how do you know they where bought by a slaughter buyer????

I admit its wrong they did this but who is going to stop it the slaughter houses in canada are owned by a very rich man and the owns the largest in all of north america…. I myself have worked at his plant and i dont see the big deal in the slaughter of horses why do u kill a cow???? same diff

Do not blame the buyers that bring them to the kill shop, blame the owners who sold the horses in the first place, if they were pets you don’t get rid of them like that. I would just be careful about videotaping someones license plateand putting online and saying what you have about them if you are mistaken you could get sued if the wrong person sees it

This is horrible. The people who are responsible for this are barbarians.

i feel bad for those horses, they should be able to live and run free without being overcrowded in a trailer.
