can i take an horse as pet?

need some details of horse ! can i keep it as pet or else use it? where can in get the horses.what will be the maintenance cost,so please suggest me about the life span and also will it get adjusted in the cold climate, what will be the cost of the normal horse(good)?

I would not recommend keeping a horse as a pet for somebody who has such little experience with horses.
They need to be trained, ridden at least twice a week, and given proper care each and every week.
Keeping a horse requires a lot of room. You can build a barn and a fence in the back yard, that is if you have more than several acres. The alternative is much more expensive, where you can board a horse at a local barn. They take care of feed, vets bills, and a place to sleep and depending on the barn, can be up to 1000 dollars extra a month.
The oldest horse ever recorded was 62 years old. On average though, horses live anywhere from 25 to 35 years of age.
Horses are adapted to living in cold climates, but will still depend on you to give it some place warm to sleep, as well as providing it with winter blankets.
A good, well-trained horse will set you about 10,000 dollars back. A pony about 5,000. If not yet fully trained, anywhere from 3,000.

Please, please do not get a horse until you know more about them. Maybe take some lessons at a local barn?
Unexperienced owners such as yourself should not be in charge of a horses life until you’ve actually done your research.
Please don’t take this in a bad way, but please don’t actually consider buying.
Just my advice.

hope this helps xo

I agree with Erin – please do not get a horse for a pet.
There is a joke in the horse world that dogs have owners, but Horses Have STAFF – in other words humans have to do a lotta lotta work for the horse to keep it happy and healthy. Horses are not like a dog or cat where you can throw it some food and water and leave it in the backyard.
They get sick very easily and sometimes it is hard to tell when they are hurt. They need lots of special vet and dental care. The list goes on and on.
