Yes, I know – the stupidest question in the world. My sister found a site that linked bird ownership with infertility and possibly miscarriage. (I think it may be a ploy get my pet birds.) I really doubt it’s true, but out of boredom from being on bedrest – I’ll ask anyways.

I have two cats, no birds, and it’s been 8 months of TTC.

so if you had a pet fish and it died really quickly, how long was it alive for?

We had a beta that lived to be 2 years old,but it kept jumping out of the tank and landing on the floor, and the tank was on a table about 4 feet high,so that’s pretty long. That was the longest. The shortest was around 1 day,our fish got sucked up into the filter.

Hi when i say i a pet horse i dont meen that i want a pet horse where i live because i havent got a big enough house or garden for it but what im trying to say is there someway i can get a hore thats myne but is kept at a farm or a stable or somthin cuz i really want a horse but cant have one in my house! so is it possible for a horse at a stable or farm to be mine so i could see it , feed it and ride it when ever i want! is it possible!

Nobody who calls a horse a "pet" should have one. It’s not a fish. You need to learn a LOT before you get one.

Our landlord gave us a little dog 3 years ago, now she wants it back, she says she will claim we stole it. We don’t know if they can take it away my little girl and the dog are so close to each other, the dog even sleeps next to her bed every night. How can I prove ownership of the dog?
Thank you guys for all of your answers. I have proof of vet visits and vaccinations, not to mention a bunch of pictures. Thanks again for your help. Have a great day!

Have you never registered or licenses the dog? That would be in your name. (In my State, licensing is required annually…it’s only like $6.00!)

Have you never taken him to a vet in 3 years? If so, you’ve got records to prove it. If not, well, then you’re not responsible enough to keep the dog so you might as well give it back.

I think you’re troller skating…funny how you’re desperate to keep "the dog" but never refer to him or her as anything personal at all. If not, maybe you’re trying to steal a dog from someone and looking for help in proving it’s yours after you get caught…sorry, I won’t help you.

I need one quick.

Everyone has the mugs and stuff, get a lint brush or a furminator for the cat. A container of catnip is appreciated too.

We just moved into our house and the previous tenents had a dog and let the dog bo his business in the basement. Now our dog goes down there and does the same thing??? How can I get the smell out and stop my dog from doing this…dont have a door on basement???
Sorry it is a concrete floor

I would mop the area well, to make sure it was as clean as it could possibly be. Bleach can be tried as well. I then try to take it out by pouring a little vinegar, if possible, to the spot. If it seems that you have the odor still, you may have to try one of those products that deal specifically with the odor removal. I’ve seen them sold in pet stores, but I’ve never tried them. I was blessed enough to be able to just rely on the vinegar method. Hope this helps!

I have recently changed my pets’ foods to healthier (no by-products or grains) foods. My golden retriever is eating Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover’s Soul Large Breed Puppy Formula and my cat is eating Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover’s Soul Adult Cat Formula and I was just wanting to hear of some experiences with these types of food.

I am not planning to feed my dog wet food but my cat has always had and LOVES it so I was looking for a better brand that what he is on now (Fancy Feast), which, after researching it, almost all of it either contains grains or by-products or both. I was at a pet store the other day and saw Before Grain canned cat food, which is 100% chicken, turkey, quail, etc. depending on the flavor. I believe "Before Grain" is a Merrick brand and was wondering if anyone has had any good or bad experiences with this?

Thanks!

Hi Christy… Before Grain is a Merrick product. I have read reviews which have been both equally positive as well as negative. It is a good product line if either your dog or cat doesn’t turn their nose away from it, it’s worth trying.

Chicken Soup for the pet lover’s Soul is also an excellent product and there are others (both wet and dry) for dogs and cats you may like to consider.
